About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our accounting and finance operations. This role is responsible for recording financial transactions, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and cost analysis, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting systems, financial reporting, and data analysis.


Job duties: Lead the analysis of complex financial data and prepare

comprehensive financial reports, statements, and strategic recommendations for senior management to support business planning and decision-making. Develop, maintain, and evaluate operating budgets based on historical trends, operational performance, and business forecasts; conduct detailed budget-to-actual variance analyses and present findings to management. Direct expenditure forecasting and purchasing budget planning by analyzing material usage, production requirements, and cost drivers to optimize cost control and resource allocation. Prepare, review, and validate general ledger entries and perform complex account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Conduct internal audit and compliance review activities by evaluating financial controls, identifying process inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to strengthen financial governance. Review and analyze bills of materials (BOMs) and product costing structures, investigate discrepancies, and resolve cost variances to maintain accurate and reliable cost data. Manage inventory valuation and costing processes, including monitoring inventory movement and applying FIFO inventory costing methodologies in accordance with GAAP. Perform in-depth inventory cost analyses and reconcile total inventory balances to the general ledger, ensuring consistency across accounting and operational systems. Record and reconcile production output and inventory adjustments to accurately reflect manufacturing activity and inventory levels. Prepare and deliver executive-level financial summaries, variance analyses, and operational performance reports, providing actionable insights to senior leadership for strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant.

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.

  • Skills:

    • 2 years of experience in using accounting systems to record transactions

    • Perform reconciliations

    • Prepare financial reports

    • Conduct budgeting and cost analysis
